Bechdolt Jack

Jack Bechdolt (1884-1954) was an American short story writer and journalist. He wrote under the name Jack Bechdolt as well as his full name. The Torch, his first novel, was originally serialized in the magazine Argosy in January 1920, then published in book form in 1948 in an edition of 3,000 copies. Several of his stories were adapted into films.
