Chambers Robert William

Robert William Chambers (1865-1933), an American artist, short story writer, and novelist, is best remembered for his strange, often paranormal short stories. Although Chambers often wrote in other genres, including romance and historical fiction, his spooky stories are noted as his most original and trailblazing contributions to fiction. Notably, Chambers’ collection, The King in Yellow, had an impact on one of science fiction’s greatest influencers, H.P. Lovecraft (1890-1937).
